CHANNEL 4 WANT TO TALK TO ECO-HOME-SEEKERS
A Researcher has contacted us about an upcoming Channel 4 social history series about homeownership.
The series will culminate with a search for the housing of the future. With the target of 3 million new homes looming, the programme will explore why we need these homes, what their design will be, and where they’re going to go. Environmental concerns and rising fuel prices will change our houses radically – but are we ready for it?
The researcher is looking for people who can talk to me about their experience of searching for an eco-home.
Are you a first time buyer, determined to only buy eco?
Have you made sacrifices to make it possible to buy an eco home?
Are you moving into an eco home in the next few months?
She would like to talk to anyone who has an interesting story about their decision to buy and their search for an eco home. If you do please contact her directly - her email address is anna.llewellyn@silverriver.tv.

Build a New Life in the Country
This is a series about British adventurers – people who decide to go for their dream home and lifestyle in their dream location.
The trend for applying ecologically sound principles towards building projects is growing and the fourth series of this ever popular show would like to reflect this. The new series will be presented by an Architect who is committed to Green issues (Charlie Luxton), and we are looking for ecobuild projects throughout the UK or abroad to feature. Are you involved in a project of this nature? Could you recommend a home or business that will be based on an energy efficient ethos? Are you designing a building that will be unique or visually impressive, are you carrying out a self-build?
We are looking to hear from a wide range of diverse projects now, with filming to take place between Spring 2008 and Summer 2009. If you are interested or could recommend a project contact: dominique.foster@shinelimited.com
